an updated baby update...

I've felt bad ever since I posted last because it sounded like I hate being pregnant and that hazel has been driving me crazy. Totally untrue. Despite the difficulties of pregnancy and the occasional unavoidable toddler tantrums, I LOVE being a mom- both of this baby in me and the one out. I am reminded of the miracle of life each time this little guy rolls around and each moment hazel and I just lay on the bed and giggle for no reason. I feel so incredibly blessed every day and I can't imagine life without either of them. I wouldn't trade one second of one minute of one day with these two for anything in the world... no matter how exhausting some days can be. Like my mom says, being a mom is the "hardest job you'll ever love doing". Amen.
So I went in to the doc yesterday at 36 weeks and I was dilated to a 1+ and 70% effaced. So it's good to know I'm progressing on my own, but at least I'm not going into labor too early like with little miss h. Hazel has been so cute lately, wanting to help with everything and being so sweet to her mama. Here are some pictures of her helping us put together a little shelf for the kiddos toys so when this babe comes life will be slightly more organized...for a minute.... (:
