Baby Update

for those of you who asked...here I am ready to pop
[belly growth on pregnancy #2 is terrifying- it grows at lightning speed!]

So I've got 6 weeks to go and I'm feeling pretty good. Well actually, that's a lie and my husband would be quick to tell you that. The poor guy- he's been putting up with me so well but the other day he asked if we should only have 2 kids... I got the point. He is done with me being pregnant. I am done with me being pregnant. With the back pain, abdominal pain, heart-burn, exhaustion, mood swings, and inability to breathe, I am most definitely done. This pregnancy has been a lot harder- and way more uncomfortable- than my pregnancy with Hazel. The good thing about this little guy is that when he moves, he mostly rolls around and only kicks every so often. Hazel did nothing but kick 100 miles per hour on my ribs all day. So that is one pain that I don't have to deal with this time and it's a nice break. But this kid has a serious relationship with my bladder and I literally pee every 10 minutes. Another thing that's worse this time around. The doctor says the second time around is always more uncomfortable and I think it's part that and part that I'm chasing a 20 month old around all day [who as lovely as she is most of the time, has been throwing tantrums and demanding my constant attention which really wears mom out- physically and mentally].
However, this being said, I'm a little freaked that it's coming so soon. It has flown by and I'm not quite sure I am ready to give up my good night's sleep yet. (: But when I look at the little clothes I have folded in his drawer I do start to get really excited to meet this little guy- to snuggle him and love him and get to know this new person in our family. And I can't even fathom how blessed we are to have another little angel in our lives and I can't wait to see Hazel with her baby brother. It's just been miracle after miracle in our little family and I don't know how to describe the joy and gratitude we feel for our life together.
ANYWAY, enough rambling about things I'm sure no one else cares about. I just have to write it down so I will remember what my pregnancies were like when these little ninos ask down the road. As far as the delivery goes, I am not dilated or effaced yet so let's keep our fingers crossed for no early labor scares this time!

p.s. Oh and as far as names go, we've got nothing. Literally, not one name we like. So any suggestions would be great! (:

Good Luck!!!

Beelzebub? Jasper? Russell, Jr.? Make him Tom III even though he would only technically be a Jr. Or Britt. Britt can be a boy's name.

I totally know what you mean when you say how time has flown by. Time has gone just as fast for our little family. But wont it be great knowing that there is a perfect little spirit strait from heaven in your home again. I just love that feeling. I hope that your not to uncomfortable, and good luck on a name. I know that you'll find one that fits just perfectly.

The Baby Name Wizard book suggests names that go with Hazel and I chose my favorite out for you!

Caleb, Elias, Gabriel, Leo, Oliver, Oscar, and Phoenix.

It's a great book, I highly recommend it!

I hear you! I have four weeks to go and I feel like I'm about ready to pop. I can't imagine trying to chase a little kid around because I can't bend down hardly at all. I hope that you will not be too uncomfortable the last little bit. Good luck with your delivery! It will be fun to have all these cute babies for the holidays.

first of all you are gorgeous. second of all i miss you. third of all - names are hard - especially boy names. How about charles, oliver, henry, thomas, eli, sawyer, porter, weston, mack, edward (eddie), I'll keep thinking.

Are you kidding me, you look great! I'm only 25 weeks and I think my belly is already as big as yours. It's scary to think that I have 3 months to grow! Good-luck getting through those last six weeks!

You look simply adorable. As far as names go, as with all inspirational needs, go to the Pottery Barn catalog, they have the cutest names for everything.

Believe me sister it gets worse with every pregnance! I asked my doctor the other day why this pregnance was so uncomfortable, she said it just get more and more with every pregnancy. That pretty much make me want to stop! I'm jealous that you are only 6 weeks away! Although I'm only one week behind you so I should complain too much. It just sounds so much better to say 6 weeks left then 7! Good luck and you look great!
