HaLLoWeeN

Yesterday was the best Halloween I have had in a long time!! The day started by playing out in the leaves with our kids on the most beautiful fall day this year. Then we had my mom's family over for soup & scones and then went Trick-or-Treating in our darling new neighborhood with the Littles and Grandpa & Grandma Koplin met up with us. We ended at home being able to relax with our kids, sort Hazel's candy, watch a Halloween show and pass out candy for the first time in our married life...I loooove living in a neighborhood that feels so much like the one I grew up in. Hazel was so excited for Halloween this year and we spent all month gearing her up for it...and she loved it! She had the time of her life going from door to door with Miles, yelling "trick-or-treat!", getting little pieces of heaven and telling the home-owners how she was going to the next house to "get some more treats". Thanks to our families for making it so fun, relaxed and easy this year- and most of all, for letting us make it all about the kids this time. It was the perfect day!!
