The Ultimate Nap Fight
My little Hazel and I spent a solid 6 months in, what I am sure was, the longest, most intense nap battle to ever surface between mom and child. From climbing out of the crib 200 times an hour (and yes I put her back in EVERY one of those 200 times), to never staying in her big girl bed, to being locked in her room, to watching a movie in bed in hopes of coercing her to sleep, to holding her tightly in my arms until she cried herself to sleep...we tried it all. I refused to give up the last nap. But even though I like to think I am the boss, I underestimated her determination and little Miss H. finally won. By the time she was 2 1/2, she was completely done with naps. I have mourned the precious "me" moments I used to have during the days, and am adjusting to life being a literal 24/7 mom. So if you get a phone call from me at 4pm begging you to come take my kids for 5 minutes so I can just breathe, you'll know why. (:This picture is just a glimpse into what those 6 months were like...this is what I walked in to after I locked her in her room one time. I should've known she'd get completely naked, get her swimsuit tangled around her neck and DESTROY the room. How did I not see that coming?!

That is hilarious! Oh the joys/terror of naps.
Oh my...she is too funny. I'm so sorry you don't have that time anymore. I'm dying to see pictures of your house, so please post them sometime. I'm sure you guys have made it awesome.
I am laughing out loud right now. What a cutie. Her and Max are two peas in a pod. M used to do the same thing. And in a few months, I hope you give me a call when you need an hour or so to breathe, we have all been there...and are still there :)
