Convention Heaven

Kind of spur of the moment last week we decided to head on over to Las Vegas for a Classic Skating convention with the Henderson's. It was 2 days in a giant playground with free food and merchandise samples. You can imagine Hazel's excitement...

...and Tom's.
I, too, was totally lovin' the free dippin dots, getting a picture with Bette, and scoring 2 pairs of free sunglasses. And Drew had a good time of his own, participating in some pretty intense makeout sessions with the cotton candy...
We had enough fun to make up for the 12 hours of driving in 3 days with a 2 year old and a 1 year old. That says a lot! (:

This was rolling in to Vegas...the kids were so done.
But then we pulled into our hotel and Hazel started SCREAMING and laughing like a hyena. And it was just because she saw the colored lights on the hotel sign. One sign and it was like she'd won the lottery. Hazel's enthusiasm for life and everything in it is mind blowing. It was such a fun way to start the trip!!

We started the convention off in true Vegas style:
Hazel getting her first tattoo...
The kids had some wrestling matches in the ball pit that made me wonder if Drew was going to make it out of there in one piece.
But he seemed to be ok...
And Hazel LOVED being thrown in by daddy
They are such health nuts, just like their parents
Let the games begin...
Thanks Classic for always showing us a good time!

That looks like such a fun place! I think I should add it to my "must do in Vegas with the kids" list.
