HaLLoWeeN

I know it's a little late, but hey, the fact that I am even blogging at all is huge at this stage in the game. I am giving up precious sleep right now to do this...
Halloween was so much fun. We ventured out [yes with Drew only being 1 week old] to all three of our parents houses. We ate the traditional scones & hamburger stew at my mom's where Hazel was terrified of the scary trick-or-treaters at the door [and can I tell you how happy I am that we found something this girl is afraid of? It's a relief to know she's not missing that part of her brain entirely]. We then went to the Henderson's where Vicki watched Drew so Tom and I and Scott could take Hazel trick-or-treating. I was so excited to go with her because this was her first time ever trick or treating and I knew she'd love it. She ran excitedly door to door grabbing as much candy as she could. It was so cute seeing her carry her big basket of candy from house to house all by herself...she looked like such a big girl! Holidays are just way too fun once you have kids. Then we went to the Koplin's where Hazel was mesmorized by the elaborate and spooky decorations of my dad's living room. And lets just say by this point we realized that Hazel + candy= total loss of control. We didn't get home until about 11pm but we had such a fun night and loved spending time with our family!

Holy hysterical! How did you get anything done? I would have spent the whole night giggling at her.

P.S. The goldfish was a hit this year. Maybe I can have the spider next year. And we can keep doing that every year from now on. Thanks!

Alisa, your grandparents are in Adam's parents ward. I had no idea. I love them! They have always been so nice to me since joining the Bellamy Family. What a small world! Are they your mom's or dad's parents?
