A Happy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was full of family, food and a lot to be thankful for this year. We went to three delicious feasts- one with the Koplin's, one with my mom's family, and one with the Henderson/Romney clan at Classic. People would ask us how many places we had to go that day and I would tell them three and they would sigh and say, "oh that must be so hard!". It got me thinking...thinking about people who have no family to celebrate with on Thanksgiving. About people who don't even have food on Thansgiving. About people who have hardships that I can't even comprehend and the holidays make it all worse for them. And then my thoughts came crashing back to my "hard" Thanksgiving where I had too many families that love us and too much food to eat and not enough time to enjoy the happiness it all brings me. And I realized my "hard" Thanksgiving was not hard at all. I'm thankful this year for Thanksgiving and the time it gives me to reflect on all I have. And more than ever, I am thankful for my family- each and every one of them- and would take a "hard" day with them any day of the year...

Hazel enjoying her rolls [I think she had at least 10]

And all anybody really sees of Drew at these parties...the kid is always eating!
[this is him under my hooter-hider]

And my sister Amy doing what she does best...taking pictures! We are so lucky to have her around!

[for some reason I only took pictures at the Koplin fiesta, but we had just as much fun everywhere else too! (: ]
