9 months!

Hazel is 9 months old today! Recently I have been overwhelmed with gratitude and love for this little angel. Today we were playing on the bed and she was just cracking up- which made me laugh uncontrollably at her- and I just thought, this moment is what life is about. I am so blessed to have Hazel in my life, to be her mom and to be home with her and spend every minute soaking up her sweetness. She is the happiest and most entertaining baby. She smiles all the time and there is nothing cuter in the world. She is heaven on earth and we are blessed beyond words to have her in our family.

Here are some new things you're doing lately our little Hazel bear...

* you sit on your knees...you look so grown up when you do this and it cracks us up
* you love to read books all of the sudden, and you especially like to crawl into my lap to read them. you cry when the story is over- it's so funny. and you like looking through a book at the pictures while you get your diaper changed (this is a great blackmail one for your first date :) )
* you have a long tail on the back of your hair very much like my New Kids On The Block doll Danny used to have.
* you're starting to get a little stranger weariness, but not too bad. you do cry when people leave though. usually mom and dad, but the other day you cried when grandpa koplin left and the next day when grandma yoj left. you love them so much!
* you like to be held a lot more. this makes mom so happy! :)
* you love to play the piano- whenever we get the chance. you love to have control over the noise.
* you sometimes like to just play on your own in your room with your toys. you sit in your crib and play too- sometimes i'll think you're asleep and hear you talking to yourself and i wonder how long you've been up.
* you also like to press every button on the keyboard. a button girl..ahh, just like your mom!
* you still love to be kissed. unfortunately mom has taken this too far and i find myself munching on your ears all day long. :) the cutest thing is that when you kiss back, you do it with your mouth wide open!
