Thank you Mr. Snowman
And this year in particular I have been dying for spring to come. There has been an inkling lately of light at the end of this dark, wintery tunnel and I can hear the birds singing in my head. We even went to the park one day last week and it was the happiest the 3 of us (me+the kids) have been in weeks!
And then there was last night. More snow that I have seen all season it seems. Nooo!!!
But then again, there was last night. With the giant snowflakes falling and bundled up kids, I watched my cute little family build the biggest snowman our yard has ever seen. Drewby kept screaming, "noman, noman!!" and Hazel has never been so happy to help daddy with anything before. She kept telling us we were in a "wonderland" out there.
The kids were so happy. The night was beautiful. We came in and drank hot chocolate, took warm baths and then snuggled in our comfy pajamas.
And we now have a seriously impressive snowman in our front yard that Hazel says will "just make all the people happy where they drive by".
So, I must begrudgingly admit...I'm not so mad it snowed in March this year....

I love it! Way to go turning a bad snow day into a good and fun memory for the kiddies. Hopefully we don't get any more...
