Girls Trip

(My niece Clara, who was allowed to come for nursing purposes, my sis Brittany, me, my sis Amy, and my mom)

For Christmas my mom gave my sister's and I a "girls gone wild" trip to Pheonix in January. Yes I really just said that. My mom kept calling it that. I probably told her 85 times she had to stop calling our trip that, especially in public. She had no idea what "girls gone wild" is. I think she still doesn't totally get it. If anything, it was a "girls gone mild" trip and it was h.e.a.v.e.n. Just what each of us needed. 4 whole days of relaxation, totally away from the chaos of life. To our utter shock, though, it started off a little chaotic. We knew our forces were together because somehow our flight got canceled due to "a state of emergency" in Arizona and the airport there being shut down. Yes, that's right. I said we couldn't fly because of the terrible weather. In Arizona. That would only happen to us. But even getting started late couldn't ruin our trip...luckily we're all mom's, and our expectations were still manageable... having a conversation, shopping and eating without any distractions. And sleeping in. Done, done and done. Best Christmas present ever mom!! Thank you!

Oh I wish it was 2002 and we were all headed to New York again! Cutest sisters and mom ever.

That sure was some nasty weather down here that day. We had a tornado touch down at my house in Gilbert.

Glad you had fun!
