Another SAD farewell...

Our dear friends Eric, Maere and Max Weed have left to Virginia for some new adventures. Eric has a new job there and will be applying to Dental School there as well. We are absolutely heartbroken to see them leave. Eric and Maere and Tom and I started hanging out a lot when we got engaged around the same time. Ever since then, we've been the closest of friends. We've been through planning weddings, to discussing pregnancies, to raising babies together. I don't know what I'm going to do not being able to see Maere and Max and get her advice about what to do with these children. And Tom and I are devastated to not have them to hang out with on the weekends anymore. They have been some of our very best friends these last 4 years. Right from the beginning, it just clicked. We loved being together! We are really happy for them though and are excited for their new adventures back east. We wish them all the luck and happiness in the world and hope we can still visit and see them as much as possible!
Here are some pictures from our last day with them. On Saturday, Tom went over to help Eric move and Maere and I took the babies swimming at their pool. Later, we went to dinner with our group of friends at Cafe Rio . It was such a fun day, but bittersweet because we'll miss them so much!

The girls. It's amazing how we became friends through our husbands but we've become so close it feels like we've been friends forever. It's so fun that it's worked out like that!
