Payton Peterson

My cousin Stacey's friend Amanda Peterson and her family endured a horrible tragedy about 3 years ago and the other night Channel 2 News did a story about it. I remember being so overwhelmed with heartache when this first happened and yet it has been a privilege to see how Amanda and her husband Jeremy have overcome such grief and come out with strength and grace and are able to stand as an inspiration to us all today. Please watch the clip below, and share it with those you love, that we may learn from it and maybe be able to avoid such a tragedy in our own lives, as is the Peterson's hope in sharing their story. I warn you to have tissues nearby, I haven't been able to stop crying all day. May we all appreciate the people in our lives every second we get to be with them...

What a great reminder for us all. I can think of no better way to honor Payton than to save the lives of other children.
