Girls Day Out

For my mom's birthday she wanted to have a girls day last Saturday with me and my sister Amy and go cross-country skiing. We had so much fun- we saw a moose (which made mom go into a detailed and very funny looking plan of what we needed to do if it charged at us; let's just say it involved skis flying everywhere and all three of us stuck in the bushes), fell down lots of hills (mostly alisa), and managed to get the car stuck in the snow twice (you would think that would be a downside of the day, but in our family the stuff that goes wrong makes us laugh so hard that it makes the day even better. we're a strange bunch of grownups). It was so nice to just be us with no kids needing our attention. We went out to lunch after and even did a little shopping at Oneity. I love my mom and hope that she had as much fun celebrating her birthday as we did! Love you!!

p.s. shout out to the husbands for taking the kids! we have the best guys!

hidden moose...can you find him??

It WAS a good day eh? And here, here, for the things that go wrong making the whole day better. Ah, strange indeed! Love you Lisi! I had a blast!

Oh yeah? Well I live with a man who has moose in his hair so I don't even care that I didn't get to go. Humph.
